How do loan companies withdraw money?

Online loans have permanently appeared on the Polish financial market and have become one of the favorite ways of borrowing Poles. Their characteristic feature is the wide availability and speed. Due to their popularity, they are constantly expanding their activities and have been practicing various methods of withdrawing money for a long time to meet the expectations of as many borrowers as possible. Therefore, there are traditional loans paid by bank transfer, but also those in which we get cash in hand or collect it at the post office. They all have both advantages and disadvantages.

Transfer

Transfer

Loan companies should work quickly and efficiently, and the easiest way to express money to the customer is to pay the loan by bank transfer. This is also the most popular way and in most companies, to draw money, you must have a bank account that is used not only to receive money, but also to verify the identity of the customer.
So it became the basic way to ensure the security of the borrower and protect him against loan fraud. For this reason, the most common requirement that loan companies place against those who contact them is to have a bank account.

The advantage of such a solution is undoubtedly its speed and convenience. Recently, applications for Quick Verification have become more widespread, which, using the client’s login and password, receive access to electronic banking and download all necessary data themselves, which shortens the time of application. In addition, most loan companies have bank accounts in many banks, thus minimizing the time to deliver a transfer in just a few minutes. And the most important issue – the customer does not have to leave the house.

However, this is not a flawless solution. To apply for a loan, only an individual account, not shared with anyone else, is allowed. Therefore, persons who only have a joint account, e.g. with a spouse, are excluded. Not everyone also has them, they have a SKOK account, which most companies do not accept or simply do not want to share their bank details anywhere.

Home delivery loans

Although this may seem like a relic of the future, this form of money delivery still works, and Provident is at the forefront. Applying for a loan is the same as for a loan with a transfer. The only difference is that both the contract is signed and the cash is picked up in person during a meeting with a company employee at the customer’s home. The customer can repay the loan in the same way.

This is a convenient solution not only for people who do not have a bank account, but also for those who prefer personal contact to better explain the complexities of the loan agreement, ask for all possible details and dispel any doubts. Unfortunately, this method also has some disadvantages. It is primarily a longer waiting time and a higher cost of the loan, which unfortunately must also pay the salary of a field worker.

Payment of a loan using a GIRO check

Lack of a bank account also does not bother if we use the services of a company offering payday loans with a GIRO check. The initial stage of the loan process looks the same as any other, except that the customer does not need to verify his identity. Thanks to this, submitting the application should not take more than a few minutes. After receiving a positive decision, the borrower can do nothing but wait for the courier of the loan company. This has three tasks: providing the client with a contract to sign, verifying his identity on the basis of his ID card and handing him a check.

Such a check can be made after 30 minutes (but no later than 7 days) from the moment the contract is signed and can be done at a Bank Pocztowy branch and repaid in the same way. To do this, you only need the lender’s account number. On the other hand, the long waiting time for a loan and the additional fee for handling a check (including usually in a dozen or so zlotys) may be deterrent

Payment at the post office by means of an SMS code

Payment at the post office by means of an SMS code

In a similar way to cash withdrawals by check, there are also loans that are collected at a outlet using an SMS code sent by the company (this is actually a variation of the GIRO check). However, this solution is definitely less time consuming. The customer deciding on this form of loan, completes all formalities via the Internet – applies and signs the contract. Then he gets a special code via SMS that can be used at every post office after only 30 minutes. The borrower does not have to wait for the courier, but is limited only by the opening hours of the facility. There is also no need to perform the verification procedure, because your identity is confirmed by an ID card at the time of receipt of the loan.
